I love to share my Love of Painting with everyone from beginners to experienced artists. With my years of experience and studying with world renowned Watercolor & Acrylic Artists I have much to share in these classes and workshops.

BEGINNER WATERCOLOR LESSONS MORNINGS

  • 5 WEEKS / WEDNESDAY MORNINGS 3 HRS EA 10 AM - 1 PM

  • In this weekly class we will cover all you need to know about Watercolor in a step-by-step process, even if you’ve never picked up a brush before. The Classes are held in my home studio In a relaxed inviting atmosphere.

    You will learn about the different types of paper, brushes, paints, watercolor techniques such as wash, wet into wet, dry brush, how to use water and pigment to create beautiful watercolor paintings.

    You will also learn how to Loosen Up and Let it Flow with water and pigment. Awaken the artist within and gain skills in this fun, informative class! Lots of individual attention.

  • $456.00 tax incl

    All professional art supplies need are included in this classes.

    Additional art supplies also for sale in studio.

    • Intimate class size - maximum 10 students

    • Classes are held in my relaxing, lakefront, home studio

INTERMEDIATE WATERCOLOR LESSONS MORNINGS

  • 5 WEEKS / THURSDAY MORNINGS 3 HRS EA 10 AM - 1 PM

  • This weekly class is open to those with previous watercolor painting experience.

    Learn to Let Go & Let the Pigment Flow. Build on your experience, and skills and learn new Wild & Loose techniques.

    Intermediate lessons aim to help you further develop your watercolor painting skills and explore more advanced techniques and concepts. You'll continue to practice and learn to work with - not fight with water and pigment. You'll refine your wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry painting techniques. We will cover Layering and Glazing, Composition, Brushwork/Brush Control, Negative Painting, Special Effects and more.

    Intermediate lessons provide you with a solid foundation to continue your journey, explore more advanced watercolour techniques and develop your personal style.

    You will continue to learn how to Loosen Up and Let it Flow with water and pigment.

  • $364.80 Incl HST

    All students are responsible for bringing their own professional art supplies.

    Art supplies are also for sale in studio.

  • Sample list of supplies to be brought to Intermediate Watercolor Lessons. Many of these supplies are available for purchase in studio

    • 2 containers for water - sour cream container size

    • Palette for paints

    • Kleenex

    • Paper towels - Blue Shop towels

    • Spray spray bottle for water

    • Green painters tape

    • Board to tape piece of paper to (corrugated board)

    • HB Pencil

    • Kneaded eraser

    • Paint - Professional Artist grade paint in tubes - Daniel Smith, Holbein or Windsor Newton. 5 ml or 15 ml

    • 5 colours to start with - Ultra Marine Blue, Auerolin yellow, Sap Green, Alizarin Crimson, Burnt Umber

    • Also another shade of blue, pinks, yellow, green.

    • And any colours of your choice

    • Paper - full size sheets of Fabriano Artistico 140 lb cold press watercolor paper. 100 % cotton 22 x 30 inch or Fabriano Artistic Block or Arches pad - 100 % cotton - 140 lb

    • Brushes - Synthetic Watercolour Brushes 3/4 inch flat, number 12, 14 round, mop brush

    • Intimate class size - maximum 10 students

    • Classes are held in my relaxing, lakefront, home studio

PRIVATE WATERCOLOR LESSONS

  • I offer Watercolour Lessons for Beginners to Experienced Artists.

    Lessons can be in my home studio OR online over Zoom.

  • We’ll customize the lessons to meet your requirements. Such as introductions to watercolor, skills to help you loosen up, learning new techniques.

    I love to share the beauty, mystery and magic of Watercolour and am happy to create a custom lesson plan to help you explore this medium.

  • Prices vary depending on if class is in-studio or online and based on the number of classes booked. Please contact me directly to discuss your needs.

    A customized supply list will be sent upon registration that is tailored to your focus.

    Art supplies are also available to purchase in the studio.

    • Flexible lesson times and days available

    • If you select in person lessons they are held in my calming, lakefront home studio

    • Private lessons offer customization to lesson plans and one on one support
