In this weekly class we will cover all you need to know about Watercolor in a step-by-step process, even if you’ve never picked up a brush before. The Classes are held in my home studio In a relaxed inviting atmosphere. You will learn about the different types of paper, brushes, paints, watercolor techniques such as wash, wet into wet, dry brush, how to use water and pigment to create beautiful watercolor paintings. You will learn how to Loosen Up and Let if Flow with water and pigment. Awaken the artist within and gain skills in this fun, informative class! Lots of individual attention.

Learn to Let Go & Let the Pigment Flow. Build on your experience, and skills and learn new Wild & Loose techniques.
Intermediate lessons aim to help you further develop your watercolor painting skills and explore more advanced techniques and concepts. You'll continue to practice and learn to work with - not fight with water and pigment. You'll refine your wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry painting techniques. We will cover Layering and Glazing, Composition, Brushwork/Brush Control, Negative Painting, Special Effects and more.
Intermediate lessons provide you with a solid foundation to continue your journey, explore more advanced watercolour techniques and develop your personal style.
You will continue to learn how to Loosen Up and Let it Flow with water and pigment.
The classes are held in a relaxing environment in my home studio

POLICIES
Policy - There will be no discounts. refunds. credits or transfers for classes not attended. A full refund will be issued if there is insufficient enrollment or if Shawn Macpherson cancels the class.
All Classes and Workshops are held in my home Studio in the Lewis Lake/Hubley/St Margarets Bay Rd area. Address upon receipt of full payment.
Inclement Weather
Should we need to cancel a class due to inclement winter weather, the following methods are used to notify students: Information is posted on Shawn Macpherson Artist Facebook account
If possible an email is sent to all students with classes on the day
Release and Waiver of Liability: In consideration of using the facilities and participating in art activities at Shawn Macpherson’s home, property, home studio, you hereby release, waive, and discharge Shawn Macpherson, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, causes of action, or costs for personal injury, property damage, or any other loss that you may sustain while on the studio premises, home or property.
